Trump presidency must be stopped
In response to Al Haak's letter on March 20: It sounds like he is an avid watcher of Fox News with their constant rhetoric that this virus was being overplayed by the media and used as a political weapon by the Democrats and that the pandemic was a "impeachment scam."
President Trump said the Democrats are fear mongering. Democrats are obviously going by science and facts and yes, I am very fearful of this virus for everyone and my family.
Right now, it looks pretty bad. Trump blames China for not letting him know sooner, when in fact our government and intelligence warned him in January.
Democrats are being so disgraceful toward Trump and they need to be stopped, Mr. Haak said. How about Trump's name calling to certain Democratic politicians running for the presidency. How mature is that?
No, this Trump presidency needs to be stopped in November.
After watching these briefings this past week, I saw Trump sensationalizing again how smart he is and how many billions he is losing being a president when there are people living paycheck to paycheck.
I am still waiting for our new health care system and the lowering cost on drugs that Trump campaigned on. Scary and sad for the people who have no health care insurance at this disastrous time.
Have you checked out our deficit lately which is growing on an unsustainable path? Now I am waiting for the cuts on Medicare, Social Security and other entitlement programs for the poor to compensate for those big tax cuts for the wealthy and large spending increases.
Cuts to SNAP will begin in April cutting benefits to 70,000 hungry Americans. Good timing.
Check out what we the American people spend with our tax dollars on corporate welfare and compare.
