At least one bright side

It never so much as crossed my mind that advertising would be considered an essential industry, but I guess it is. If you are like me, you have been inundated with COVID-19-specific ads via email, texts and TV. Probably radio, too, but I only listen to noncommercial stations and tune out the non-ads. At least we can be assured on one sector putting in the overtime.

Meanwhile, Trump is trying to hasten us all back to work, essential and not so, against all medical wisdom. I guess he's just trying to shore up the economy before the election because it is his only platform.

There is a bright side you may have noticed as well. There is so very little junk mail anymore that I rarely have to check my mailbox. Nonessential, I presume.

Stay separated, stay safe and most importantly, stay at home unless it is absolutely essential. Everything else will keep.
