Uplifting encounter
I was out this morning in my driveway, when the Groot Waste truck drove up. I waved to the driver as he was dumping the can, and I walked down my very long driveway to retrieve it. He must have seen my gray hair, because he got out of the truck and began to drag it toward the house. I met him halfway and told him I could handle it, (I'm not infirm) and thanked him. He just said "No problem" and wished me a good day. That little gesture made my day. I thought I'd share.
