Can't understand

I do not understand how so many people continue to support Donald Trump, especially after what I witnessed on television. Mr. Trump used his State of the Union address as a campaign rally repeating many of the lies, exaggerations and madeup "facts" that he uses to rally his supporters.

Then, Mr. Trump went to the National Prayer Breakfast and treated that solemn occasion more like a campaign rally as well. He bragged about being acquitted by the Senate and denigrated his accusers. He mocked people of faith who pray and make decisions based on their faith - this at a prayer breakfast.

Later in the morning at the White House before an invited audience, he rambled on for over an hour speaking hatred, lies and vindictiveness. And the audience of spineless sycophants applauded and laughed at the venom, vulgarity and vitriol being spewed by Donald Trump.

Then, he began firing American patriots for having the audacity to tell the truth when testifying under oath before Congress. It appears Mr. Trump has not even a shred of decency. How does one support a man like this?
