Candidate is model of a great judge

I am writing with unwavering enthusiasm to support Justin Hansen for McHenry County Circuit Judge. I initially met Justin years ago when I was a new attorney and Justin was serving as the prosecutor for local municipalities in traffic court. It was clear that Justin not only knew the laws and how to apply them, but also, just as importantly, was a professional and compassionate lawyer. Justin set a wonderful example of the type of attorney I aspired to be.

Through the years, I have had the pleasure of getting to know Justin both professionally and personally as our careers and civic involvement have overlapped. Justin's dedication to the community is evident through his commitment to numerous organizations, such as Senior Care Volunteer Network, Big Brothers Big Sisters of McHenry County, and St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, to name a few.

When he was unanimously appointed as a McHenry County Circuit Court Judge by the Illinois Supreme Court, there was no doubt in my mind that he would serve our county well, and he has done just that. His time on the bench has been marked by the same integrity, professionalism, and dedication to the law that he displayed as an attorney.

Despite his political and professional achievements, Justin would probably be the first one to admit that his proudest accomplishment is his family. If you spoke to him about his wife and three children, you would hear about his devotion to them, a quality that serves him well as he currently presides over cases in the Family Division.

Justin exemplifies all of the virtues of a great judge, and has proven himself to be the leader we want to see in McHenry County. For these reasons, I am supporting Justin Hansen for McHenry County Circuit Judge.
