Judge candidate focused on integrity, not politics

On March 17, we will have many important decisions to make in the Republican primary election. One of the races that gets less attention is McHenry County Circuit Court.

As many folks have come to realize, the judiciary is an equally important branch of government, and in McHenry County we have been blessed to have had Judge Justin Hansen unanimously appointed to his position last year by the Illinois Supreme Court. Judge Justin Hansen is a special judge. He oversees a family court. He has a young family of his own and he is very involved in the community. Because of this, he understands how the decisions made at the courthouse can affect the lives of those who stand in front of him.

Judge Hansen has two Republican primary opponents. They are both career politicians. Justin Hansen is not a politician; he is active in our community, and I have gotten to know him over the years, attending and volunteering through our church. He is a good man and has been a wonderful addition to our McHenry County courts.

My husband, Larry, and I have resided in McHenry County for 29 years where we have raised our six children. We are voting for integrity, honesty and common sense. My family and I will be voting for Judge Hansen.
