Religious message of truth to power

Thank you, Christianity Today for finally speaking truth to power in the article entitled "Trump Must be Removed from Office."

As a born Catholic, altar boy and disciple of Christ, I am grateful for the much-needed honesty and integrity from an honorable source. As quoted in the article "The facts in this instance are unambiguous: The president of the United States attempted to use his political power to coerce a foreign leader to harass and discredit one of the president's political opponents. That is not only a violation of the Constitution; more importantly, it is profoundly immoral."

For honest evangelicals to finally have an epiphany that our so-called president is a narcissistic amoral cretin has been a long time coming. Yet some of my fellow Christians still possess a cultlike venal sycophancy in support of him.

The continued support of what I call the Aryan Nation Hypo-Christians and Evangeli-crits of this vile, despicable excuse for a human being proves that their own moral, ethical, legal, Constitutional and Christian depravity is worse than that of Trump himself.

We can blame 20-plus years of Fox news lies and propaganda along with televangelist swindlers who are just as guilty as Trump of gaslighting, conning and defrauding Americans with demagoguery.
