Unequal sentences

On Jan. 30, Mario Gonzales of Bartlett was sentenced to seven years in prison for killing Fredy Loyo. Mario was driving on Lake Street at a speed of 86 miles per hour according to police. He ran a red light and hit a car driven by Loyo, who died in the hospital. Gonzales' blood alcohol content was 0.19 about an hour after the crash. Mario received a sentence of eight years in prison, but could be released in six years. Loyo, who did nothing wrong, will serve for eternity. Where is the justice?
