My 2020 resolution: No more politics

I made a resolution for 2020: no more politics for me.

We used to be a country to be proud of. Circumstances, way beyond our control have become so out of hand that I'm not sure we will ever recover. I despise what it is doing to both sides of the aisle.

The System is just getting divisive and no matter who you turn to for help, it appears that it just comes down to politics, instead of a country to be proud of for all Americans.

It should not be just red. It should not be just blue. It is supposed to be red, white and blue.

Not just Republicans. Not just Democrats. It is the delicate balance of both to create the America our Founding Fathers had in mind.

This political rhetoric we see on TV, hear on the radio, see on our emails, read on Twitter and Facebook, or slogans printed on T-shirts is tearing us apart.

It saddens and angers me that our country has become so mad at each other that we can't work things out for the good of everybody in the country. Let's all just be friends and together help make the world a better place to live. Starting with our family, friends, neighborhoods, cities, counties, states, country and the whole planet.

God help us all.
