Fearing for the nation's future
Perhaps most influential moment in the history of American politics has happened in Congress. I believe it is not, but more than a few years away that a president will be removed strictly by the fact the opposite party controls both houses. This country is more divided than during the Civil War and as for Trump's legacy, if he wins in November the smear will not be on him but on the fools that allowed this to happen. As for the Senate trial, after the farce we witnessed in Congress enough damage has been done. To now create the same spectacle except with Joe Bidden and others called in front of the Senate will only add to flames. End this now and let the people speak in November, or I fear the Republic as was Greece, Rome, and other great empires is near its end.
