Mueller report distorted

Trump supporters continue to distort the Mueller report. The first falsehood is that there was no collusion. Mr. Mueller was not asked to investigate collusion, and he says so in the report. The idea that there was no collusion defies logic. There were over 100 contacts with Russians by members of the Trump team, any many of them lied about it. That's the textbook collusion.

The second falsehood is that no obstruction of justice was found. There were at least 10 clear instances in the report that amount to obstruction of justice. Over 700 current and former U.S. attorneys signed a letter certifying that these were chargeable offenses. The only reason the president was not charged was the OLC memo stating that a sitting president cannot be indicted.
