How can we tolerate this treatment of children?

It's been over a year now since the Trump administration instituted its child separation policy. It's only getting worse.

Seven migrant children dead in government custody, some as young as two years old. The Department of Justice is fighting to deny children beds, blankets, health care and edible food. Death Row inmates get better treatment.

Taxpayers are paying $750 per child per day to private contractors and they can't provide basic essentials? This government-sponsored cruelty will go down in American history with the Trail of Tears and Japanese internment camps. How can any American not be outraged that we treat children this way?
