National security is at risk with Trump

Regarding the June 14, Daily Herald article "Trump tries to tamp uproar on foreign stance." Do citizens really not understand the gravity of Trump (forgive me, I cannot refer to him as president) brazenly telling the American people that he is open to accepting information on opponents from a foreign government and that he would certainly not notify the FBI of such contact?

And when his comments do not play well for him in the press, he immediately appears on Fox to walk it all back and declare his deep and abiding "love" for America.

The hypocrisy is stunning.

This man needs to fade into obscurity either by impeachment or election defeat and sooner rather than later. Our national security, to say nothing of our stance on the world stage, depends on it.
