Get tough on gun scofflaws

To show the public the problem we face right here in Naperville, here are some statistics:

• 237 gun permits revoked.

• 168 of those have refused to turn in their guns.

• 127 attempts by them to buy more guns.

Some people refuse to abide by the law. and law enforcement does not enforce. we end up with more incidents like the Pratt case in Aurora.

Last time I heard, there were over 1,000 permits to sell guns in Naperville alone. There are only a handful of gun shops. so we must have a bunch of people selling guns out of the back of their cars without background checks.

It's time to get tough on the scofflaws. start tracking and arresting violators.

I am sick and tired of the whiners at the NRA, while the carnage continues. the GOP spends more time protecting embryos than protecting living children.
