A limited view
In response to a previous letter referring to undocumented people freeloading by getting food, housing and medical care, let's look at that closer.
Do we not feed criminals, house them and give them medical care in prison? Those undocumented people are kept in cages also, the meals are I doubt what I would prefer, and they are given medical care to keep diseases from spreading into our population.
We must control illegal immigration and those that slip through our walls or preventive controls, but we need a better way to handle the problem. It won't stop until people in the government start looking for more than one solution.
