Huntley library vote is a bargain

On April 2, we have a unique opportunity to enhance our village of Huntley. Our own Huntley library is in need of expansion and renovation.

We can do that by voting yes on the Huntley Library Expansion Referendum on our ballot. We have a voice in the future of our community, making sure we have the space needed for our ever increasing population and the need for materials, technology, education programs and a community hub open to all of us.

As a senior, I am always concerned with utilizing my monies well. After attending a discussion at the library, where the referendum was explained, I realized that for the price of purchasing two or three books or downloading on my Kindle, I would spend more than the cost for one year of the library.

This is quite a bargain and I'm so looking forward to seeing a library in Huntley that will enhance and serve our community way into the future.
