Words from our forefathers

John Adams, first vice president, second president, when leaving office for the last time said: "I pray heavens to bestow the best blessing on this house, and all that shall inhabit it. May none but honest and wise men rule under this roof."

For over 200 years, we have been blessed and Adams' prayer answered. When we had lesser of a man, we responded and removed them, or they corrected their wrongdoings.

What is happening that for the last two years we have a president who lies, insults, and mistreats women, while separating children from families (Nazi style), dividing the country and upsetting world order. Why are we putting up with this? There are a plethora of good men who can run this country.

Trump promised none but the most competent people would he be surrounded with. They are all going to jail, (the good ones quit). What does this tell us?

We are told, we are the envy of the world. We would be better off being loved and respected.

In regards to tariffs, the old saying goes, "you cast your bread upon the water it comes back two fold". Trump proceeds to correct the trade imbalance. Countries do not war with each other when trade exists. Trade with other countries made them richer and stronger, and allowed us a market to less expensive goods, preventing wars. This has been reversed by tariffs.
