Views on abortion not inspiring

Regarding the Daily Herald editorial "Women presidential candidates inspire as they aim for "highest" glass ceiling" on Feb. 11.

"Inspire"?

All six women pictured in this editorial favor abortion rights. Abortion kills innocent human life. I do not find that inspiring. It would appear almost impossible for a candidate to gain the Democratic Party nomination for president without supporting abortion rights. Whatever you want to call it, "inspire" is not the word. "Self evident right to life" means something ... and the taking of innocent human life by his/her mother also means something.

Many women wept when Hillary Clinton conceded the race to Trump. All the women I knew cheered, and cheered loudly.

I can only hope all six of these women follow in Hillary's footsteps - and eventually also concede.
