Law-and-order irony

Many say that all Trump is trying to do is fulfill his campaign promises. Many of us heard him proudly proclaim that he was the "law and order" candidate. Since he was elected, roughly 15 of his associates have been charged with breaking the law. Some have been convicted and others are cooperating, presumably to gain less harsh sentencing. This doesn't include 25 Russians who have been charged with interference with the election of 2016.

Would a real law and order candidate surround himself with such a group of sleazy characters?

As a young man, an adult told me the following, "Tell me who your friends are and I'll tell you what you are." Hmmm, this sure seems to apply here. It seems that the only "fake news" here is the claim that he is a law and order president. Promises, promises.
