We have to address reasons immigrants come to U.S.

Why do thousands of people want to come here? Most if not all to get a job and a better life. If employers wouldn't hire illegal immigrants for cheap labor, it would put a damper on it. Case in point, 12 illegal immigrants were fired from Trump's New York golf course. Those in charge claim they had no knowledge for 15 years - the length of time some of the immigrants were employed - that they shouldn't have been hired. However, those that were fired said there were no background checks.

There is also a company called E-Verify that will prove the status and they were not used. There used to be raids back in the 1970s to export any illegal immigrants, and companies were fined that hired them. Once the government realized it was more cost effective to look the other way, the raids stopped.

Stop and think about it, those using fake social security numbers will never be able to reap the benefits once they retire, but the government gets to keep all the millions paid into the system over the years and the employers get cheap labor and prices are kept down, so it is a win-win situation for everyone.

We have to take away their reason for coming here if we want to curb the influx of illegal immigrants, and it starts with companies that are hiring, including our own POTUS.
