Thanks for the memories

To the best hosts ever - Jim, Dino and Art, plus waitresses, busboys and excellent chefs: You don't know me by name, but it's Ann. I'm a regular Eros customer who would come in for dinner by myself with a book in hand and enjoyed always being welcomed with a sincere smile and a happy-to-see-me grin on your faces. You might remember me as the person who turned 90 in August and told you we were going to celebrate this big birthday at Arlington Park Racetrack. My husband and I had been customers for many years, until he passed away in October 2010.

I don't think you realize how you and your staff became like family and I'm sure all your regulars felt the same. We looked forward to the camaraderie you extended to us, your excellent food and just a nice place to sit, relax, eat and feel at home. And now, where will I go? There will never be another Eros. Thank you for everything and whatever your future plans are, I wish everyone much happiness, good health and may only the good things in life come your way. And so, with a heavy hear, "Thanks for the memories" and God bless everyone.
