What is the real cost of the tax cuts?

Are tax cuts so appealing to a portion of our citizens and our politicians that they think the cuts justify the destruction of protections against nuclear conflict, the dismantling of protections for our environment, and the degradation of our moral values so we look the other way when a newspaper reporter is killed for investigating and reporting corrupt and autocratic rule?

So for the one who gave us tax cuts, anything else he does not matter. And the real cost of those tax cuts is what?
