Inconsistent positions

I find your lack of endorsement in the U.S. 9th congressional race puzzling and inconsistent. I do not actively support either candidate, but I am a 9th District resident who plans on voting in November. On Election Day, I will have to make a choice between these two candidates and I think you should as well.

Saying "voters deserve a better choice" is not a valid reason not to make a choice, an endorsement or not to vote. During the 2016 Presidential election I wish I had better choices as well; however, I had to choose who I thought was the better of the two candidates and cast my vote.

I also find it inconsistent for you to endorse Peter Roskam in large part because of his experience and influence in Washington and critique his opponent as being "new to politics." Apply those convenient standards to the 9th congressional race and endorse a candidate, vote. Because on election, regardless of the candidates I will have to cast my vote.
