Can't count on Congress to get immigration right
Let the facts be known.
It doesn't matter who is president. We have 435 house members and 100 senators, of which 18 and 2, respectively, are from Illinois.
These people have not been able to come up with ANY immigration reforms. So we have one president who used an executive order? Why, because these 535 people could not get anything done? And then the next president did something similar and the country has a meltdown.
In 1986, 2002 and 2006 securing the boarders was an issue. Whatever we call it, we have 535 people who are costing America big money for what? Job security.
Now I read that we do not have 11 million immigrants, but MIT says it's closer to 30 million.
Most of the issues in this country are a result of the 535 members failing us for what, job security. Just like Illinois and our tax issues, we keep electing the same people expecting different results. When will we learn?
