Endorsement: Daily Herald backs Nybo over Glowiack in Illinois Senate District 24

In 2014, we wrote that voters in Illinois Senate District 24 had two strong choices. Four years later, voters have the same choices - Republican incumbent Chris Nybo and Democrat Suzanne Glowiack. Our pick remains unchanged: Nybo should return to Springfield.
Glowiack declined to participate in the endorsement process this year. Regardless, Nybo has the experience, voting record and willingness to collaborate that continue to earn our trust. He has pushed for lower taxes and pension reform. He supports sensible gun control laws. And he's worked to expand access to epinephrine for allergy-related emergencies.
Nybo has served his district well and again earns our endorsement.
