He expected more at Lake Arlington
As a longtime user of Lake Arlington I was very excited about the improvements in the path around the lake.
The recent article about the grand opening claimed an improved and wider path.
To my surprise when I went to walk there this morning, I found nothing but cosmetic changes. The only change was to seal coat the existing path. It is not wider, none of the cracks were fixed, the path was not leveled, and none of the bumps were repaired - like painting an old house without first scraping and priming.
No improvements except in the playground and marina area. Since 90+ percent of the users are walkers, runner, and bikers I was expecting the improvements to go there. Very disappointing!
