End one-party rule in DuPage County

We can end one-party rule in DuPage County by electing the Democrats who are running in all six districts. (Not all seats are up for re-election, so a blue wave at this time would leave a somewhat balanced board.)

When considering these Democratic candidates, ask yourself if you agree with their general positions, as outlined in the following three questions.

DuPage County elected officials are the highest paid in the state. Would you support a salary freeze?

We, the residents, pay for the countywide elected officials' pensions, health insurance and vehicle costs. Shouldn't these officials stop taking taxpayer-funded handouts? (Liz Chaplin, the sole Democrat on the current board, opposed the latest salary increase and returns hers to DuPage County.)

The DuPage County Board routinely provides no-bid contracts to vendors who donate to their campaigns. Shouldn't we voters require that all county contracts use a multiple-vendor bidding procedure?
