Constitution change should include pensions

The progressive income tax proposed by JB Pritzker allegedly is to only tax the rich. You could take all the annual income earned each year from every billionaire in Illinois and you wouldn't fill the budget gap. I also will bet that JB has a different definition of "rich" than I do when he calculates the new rates. Many people will be surprised when they find out that they fall into the "rich" category.

If he wants to revise the Illinois Constitution to allow for a progressive tax, he also needs to revise it to allow for changes to the state pension plans. If he only gets the progressive tax changed, I will be one of the masses of Illinois residents that will be moving out of the state.

Enough is enough.
