Google remarks a threat against free speech

Donald Trump has made very obvious his disdain for our Constitution's guarantee of free speech. Any time he hears something he doesn't like, which is often, he shouts "fake news" from the Twitter rooftops.

On Aug. 29, the Daily Herald published an article from The Associated Press about his most recent target, Google. The article states that Trump now finds fault with Google's search engine and hints at controlling Google. Presidential adviser Larry Kudlow told the press that the White House is "taking a look" at whether Google searches should be subject to some government regulation.

Trump also stated that Google, Facebook, Twitter and others "better be careful." Trump goes on to say that the " … left wing media are "very dangerous. This is very disturbing. …" Please read the full article.

This is just a frightening step away from applying government regulation to newspapers, radio or your own voices. Tax cuts and renegotiated trade deals may be pointed out as good things, but control of free speech would be the worst of governmental actions.
