Separations must stop
Among the many execrable actions of the Trump administration, the decision to torture children and their parents psychologically by separating them at the border in Mexico is the most egregious. It's a terrifying (but the not first) Trump step toward realizing his fantasy of becoming a strongman unanswerable to moral and human considerations.
And his lie that somehow this policy, enacted by his attorney general in April, is the Democrats' fault is laughable. Even Trump apologists must see that.
What action are our representatives taking to stop this? It needs to stop today.
