It's up to House to restore net neutrality

Net neutrality now lies in the hands of the House of Representatives after the Senate overturned the FCC's decision to repeal net neutrality. What is at stake is human rights being taken away from Americans by censoring free speech.

This will not only endanger Americans, but everyone around the world.

Can you imagine if the following events had been censored either in the news or on social media: shooting of college students at Kent State, Rohingya massacre or the police brutality of Catalan's independence movement?

Or imagine being followed for any social media posts that the powers that be either do not approve of or feel are not politically correct.

In order to stand up for human rights, Americans must create enough of a demand for restoring net neutrality by calling their local congressman's office. And then ask them to vote in favor of net neutrality.

What Americans are up against is lobbying from big companies such as Comcast, Verizon, AT&T and Spectrum? The Trump administration has not disclosed how much money the FCC has received from them.

If congressmen feel that there is enough of a demand, only then will they set up a vote. This is known as forcing a vote. And it is essential for upholding human rights in America.
