Can't back down on guns

My great, great grandparents came to Connecticut in the late 1800s and settled in Sandy Hook. My family has friends and cousins in that town which was the site of the massacre of 20 first-graders and six teachers. My son Michael is a high school teacher in Broward County, Florida, near the Parkland murders. One of saddest things that occurred at that school was the death of two young girls. They could not find shelter and they could not escape. They were found alone holding each other's hand. They died together. This is the war that our families and children experience throughout the nation. The NRA buys members of the House and Senate so that nothing is done. Assault weapons are not protected by the Second Amendment. The NRA has received money from Vladimir Putin and the Russians.These are the facts. I will not back down.
