Senator should apologize
I respect all military men and women who have served but I am beginning to resent junior Sen. Duckworth continually using her service and disablement to criticize others who have not served for one reason or another. Her disparaging remarks about President Trump should require an apology to him. If she wants to criticize people for not serving in the armed forces, she needs to look no farther than in her own back yard. Senior Sen. Durbin has no military record and only 18 percent of her fellow congressmen/women have a military record.
