The left just can't help itself

The left went ballistic when President Trump quipped New England needed some global warming in the face of subzero temperature, heavy snow and high winds. They carefully parsed his tweet and pompously explained there is a difference between weather and climate. That's somewhat of a challenge because there is no difference, except climate is weather in all capitals. The best climate cultists can do is to tell us to ignore the facts and trust their theories.

A similar reaction was triggered when Kim Jong Un bragged about his "red button" to launch nonexistent missiles at the US. Trump responded by saying "My button is bigger … and really works."

You would think Trump was treating to start World War III. In fact, he was mocking "Rocket Man," which is exactly what every president since Truman should have done instead of buckling under North Korea's hollow threats.

The left had the audacity to describe Trump as mentally unstable, immature and not qualified to be president. As Scott Baio explained to Jesse Watters on Fox News, Trump is from Queens, and if someone makes a ridiculous statement, they get mocked.

Each of Trump's tweets may have different verses but should bear the same refrain, "I'm just messing' wit YA." Humorless ideologues won't understand, but their predictions of dire consequence will go unheeded by those with a sense of humor and passing knowledge of history.
