How can we prosper with president who lies?

When I was a teenager, the U-2 spy plane was shot down. President Eisenhower denied the possibility of such a spy flight. I felt it must be true, as no President could hope to lie and get away with it. Later, after he found out the status of Gary Powers, President Eisenhower admitted the facts and had only withheld the truth till they determined the pilot's fate.

Now we have a president who lies as if he will never be caught in those lies. Everything from the size of his crowds, the Obama birth certificate, how little he's going to play golf, how he's signed more bills than any president, how he's going to reveal his tax returns, on and on. How can you expect the truth from such a man?

And how can we prosper with a president who dodges the truth? I don't care if you are a Republican, Independent or Democrat, this person will not serve you well.
