Why we're appalled by players' behavior
There were three things my father loved, his family, his country, even though he lost his brother in the Vietnam War, and football, the Bears.
The flag belongs to the American people and the people who keep us safe. If you don't feel absolute pride when they sing the anthem and raise the flag, maybe you are in the wrong country. The United States may not be perfect, but it is the only place I want to live.
I challenge the professional athletes take a trip with the military overseas and see them trying to help and stabilize a country, to keep the United States safe. The return flight, fly with the military personal who have the flag draped over their caskets and face their family members. Maybe then they will understand why the American people are appalled with their million dollar behavior.
