Cary-Grove Chamber hosts ribbon-cutting at New Directions Addictions Recovery ServicesAug 24, 2023 7:39 PM - The Cary-Grove Area Chamber of Commerce, along with the Greater Crystal Lake Area and Woodstock Area chambers of commerce, recently co-hosted a ribbon-cutting to celebrate New Directions Addiction Recovery Services new home for their "A Way Out" program and their new administrative offices at 500 Coventry Lane, Suite 270, in Crystal Lake. New Directions Addiction Recovery Services is a non-profit organization whose mission is to support the process of recovery from substance use disorders. Their vision for carrying that mission forward is to provide a broad network of much-needed services for those in recovery, and address substance abuse and addiction through advocacy, treatment, and continued support. The A Way Out program operates on behalf of the McHenry County State's Attorney's office and offers service to any resident of McHenry County who requests "a way out" of their current substance dependence and endeavors to provide participants access to resources that align with their personal recovery goals.
