Chocolate Shoppe owner up for small business honor

AURORA - Andie Groff of The Chocolate Shoppe in Aurora has been selected as a semifinalist in the UPS Store Small Biz Challenge, a nationwide competition created to celebrate small business ownership.

With the help of the local community, Andie could advance to the competition finals in New York City for a chance to win $25,000 later this summer.

The Chocolate Shoppe is a specialty chocolatier that crafts all of its products by hand and from scratch - without any machinery. There are four locations throughout Chicago's West suburbs.

Local community members are encouraged to vote for Groff at www.inc.com/theupsstore/2023-challenge.html through June 12.
