Pulse Technology to host Networking For a Cause event

SCHAUMBURG - Pulse Technology will host a Networking For a Cause event at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 3, at its corporate headquarters, 201 Commerce Drive, Schaumburg, in support of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Pulse is a technology company serving the IT and managed print services needs of businesses. Nicole Miceli, a solutions specialist at Pulse, is spearheading the networking and fundraising effort. She is a team member of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Visionaries of the Year campaign, working to make the largest impact possible for the organization's mission.

For Miceli and others in her family, this is personal. Her brothers, Vince and William, both also part of the Pulse Technology team, each have been diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Vince is in remission but William is still going through treatments.

The event will give people a chance to meet and network and also help to contribute to this important cause, Miceli said.

Since 1949, the LLS has invested nearly $1.6 billion in research, pioneering many of today's most innovative approaches to help those with cancer.
