Missner Group hires assistant controller

DES PLAINES - The Missner Group, which provides real estate development and construction services throughout the Midwest, said Jennifer Kanzler and Nick Ross have joined its growing team.

Kanzler will join the company as assistant controller. She is a Chicago native and graduate of Loyola University of Chicago's business school, where she received a degree in accounting.

Kanzler spent two years in public accounting, working at Plante Moran as a staff accountant. Most recently she has worked in the private sector for a residential real estate firm, first as a senior transaction analyst and then as a senior associate.

Ross will joining the team as an assistant property manager, working alongside the senior management team at the Missner property and asset management group. He is a student at Roosevelt University in Chicago and will graduate this spring, receiving a degree from the business school with an emphasis on real estate studies.

Ross is an SIOR scholarship award recipient, has maintained a grade-point average of 3.9 out of 4.0 and has consistently been on the dean's list. Ross has completed several internships related to the industry. He grew up in Bartlett and attended Glenbard North High School.
