BACC to host economic summit Feb. 8

BARRINGTON - The Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce will host an Economic Summit, "State of the Greater Barrington Area," from 8:30-10 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 8 at Barrington's White House, 145 W. Main St.

Village officials from surrounding communities will update local business leaders and the community on current economic conditions and what lies ahead for the Greater Barrington Area in 2023. The public is invited to attend the event, which includes pastries, coffee, networking and the program. Cost to attend is $10. Register at www.BarringtonChamber.com.

Confirmed speakers to date include: Scott Anderson of Barrington, Brian Cecola of Barrington Hills, Greg Rusteberg of Deer Park, Nandia Black of Kildeer, Karen Daulton-Lange of Lake Barrington, Bill Jacob of Long Grove, Eleanor Sweet McDonnell of North Barrington, Keith Vogeler of Port Barrington, and Paula McCombie of South Barrington.

Speakers will discuss the 2022 year in review, economic development accomplishments and goals for 2023.
