Taco John's to open near O'Hare Monday
Taco John's will open its first Chicago-area location Monday on the northeast side of the O'Hare International Airport property across from Rosemont and Des Plaines.
Located at 840B N. Patton Drive at the intersection with Higgins Road, the fast-food restaurant is connected to a 7-Eleven convenience store servicing the north business access area of the airport. The opening marks the 13th Taco John's in Illinois and 370th overall.
Founded in 1969 in Cheyenne, Wyoming, Taco John's is known for its tacos, burritos and Potato Olés. Doors will open at 10 a.m. Monday, and the first 100 people in line will get a golden ticket valid for free Potato Olés for a year.
The restaurant will be open seven days a week from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
