It was standing room only when The Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce celebrated  a ribbon cutting for Chez Francois Poutinerie, 22 East Chicago Avenue, Suite 120 in Naperville on Aug. 4. The ceremony was facilitated with esteemed ambassadors and community members, as well as civic leaders Illinois state Rep. Janet Yang Rohr. Naperville City Councilwoman Jennifer Bruzan Taylor represented the city of Naperville.

The Geneva Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting celebrating OS2 Salon's 10-year anniversary on Aug. 4. Jade is located at 507 S. Third St., Unit D, Geneva. Owner  Allison Yeager (right) and her mom, Judy Patrick, held the ribbon, surrounded by family and staff.

The Lisle Area Chamber of Commerce celebrated the grand-opening ribbon cutting of Cabinets City, located at 1718 Ogden Avenue, Lisle. Cabinets City owners, the chamber's executive director, the Lisle business community and elected officials celebrated Cabinets City's grand opening of their newest location in Lisle.

Guaranteed Rate had their ribbon tying and grand opening on Aug. 4. Located at 204 W. Wing Street in Arlington Heights, Guaranteed Rate is the third largest mortgage company in the U.S. and is excited to have opened its branch location in the center of downtown Arlington Heights. On Aug. 10 the Bloomingdale Chamber of Commerce celebrated the new business of Tunisia Macklin -- Peaceful Birthing Services, 201 E. Army Trail Road, Suite 307, Bloomingdale. Macklin is a Doula and helps mothers and families prepare for the birth of their child into the world peacefully.  Macklin was surrounded by family, friends and chamber members there to celebrate her new business.
