C&K Trucking leases part of property

OAKBROOK TERRACE — Two area commercial real estate executives negotiated a long-term lease to a national trucking company that will be coming to Channahon, a community in Will County south of Aurora and Naperville.

Joshua Hearne, principal of Oakbrook Terrace-based real estate agency Cawley Chicago, along with Senior Associate Reinier Pranger, represented the client and landlord, C&K Trucking. The company is leasing about 12 acres of its site at 24105 W. Front St. in Channahon to another trucking operation.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Cawley Chicago was able to help C&K Trucking improve the value of its property by executing an early termination with an existing tenant and positioning the national trucking company as a solid credit tenant for a long-term lease, Hearne said.

Cawley Chicago was founded in 1998 and specializes in leasing, sales, investment disposition/acquisition, consulting and asset/property management.
