Anchor Health property manager enters Chicago region

DEERFIELD - Anchor Health Properties, a national health care real estate development, management and investment company, said it is expanding to the Midwest and purchased its first building in the Chicago area.

Based in Charlottesville, Virginia, Anchor recently closed on a two story, 16,737-square-foot medical office building at 350 S. Waukegan Road in Deerfield. The property was acquired via a joint venture with institutional equity partner Harrison Street, an investment management firm exclusively focused on alternative real estate assets.

Originally constructed in 2013, the medical office building is 100% occupied by Northwestern Medicine, a regional nonprofit health system operating 11 hospitals with more than 4,400 affiliated physicians.
