On June 8 the Bloomingdale Chamber of Commerce celebrated Versiti's move to a new location at 398 W. Army Trail Road, Suite 112, Bloomingdale. Chamber members, Versiti staff and donors were on hand to celebrate.
The Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce celebrated a ribbon cutting for the third Naperville location of Two Bostons in Market Meadows Shopping Center 1239 Naper Blvd., Suite 109 on June 9. Owners Andy and AdreAnne Tesene were toasted by our ambassadors and community members, as well as civic leaders as they celebrated the official opening of their seventh store.

Bright Horizons at Early Child and Education Center's expansion is complete, and the Schaumburg Business Association celebrated with a ribbon cutting and business during hours. It was a great afternoon of lunch, raffles networking and celebration. Schaumburg Village president Tom Dailly, Village Trustee Jamie Clar and Village Trustee, Brian Bieschke as well as the Schaumburg Business Association's Board of Directors and Ambassadors came out to the event.

Equipment Depot, America's largest independently operated material handling and equipment rental source, celebrated the grand opening of its new state-of-the-art 75,000 square-foot facility at 1801 Normantown Road in Romeoville at a ribbon-cutting ceremony with (L to R) Equipment Depot's Mark Paterson Vice President of Product Support; Jade Bader, Regional Vice President of Illinois; David Turner, President & CEO, and Equipment Depot employees. The move, which doubled Equipment Depot's warehouse capacity, is in response to the growing demand for forklift rentals and the company expects to fill multiple positions in the coming months.
The Elgin Area Chamber welcomed Elgin's newest business, Blue Horizon Driving Academy, last week and celebrated with a ribbon-cutting event attended by family, friends and chamber volunteers and staff. Founded in Chicago in 1991 their professional and multilingual instructors produce well-qualified drivers. Commercial truck driving is one of the fastest-growing career options, with forecasts predicting 575,000-plus additional opportunities for CDL holders in the next few years. Located on Route 25 in Elgin, the school offers opportunities for area residents to learn at a convenient location and graduate with the license to enter the field in a short period of time.
Phillips Chevrolet has raised $12,000 for the Wounded Warrior Project. General Manager Michael Maheras; Sales Specialist and veteran Chris Baxendale, and President Curtis Pascarella stand to show the $12,000 raised. These funds will go to help the mission of the Wounded Warrior Project: to honor and empower wounded veterans and active duty service members. A small organization that began in 2003 to provide simple care and comfort items to hospital bedsides has blossomed into an organization with services in mental health, career counseling, and long-term rehabilitative care. Phillips Chevrolet is located in Frankfort, Lansing and Bradley.
