Morton Arboretum to unveil new Human+Nature sculptures

LISLE - South African artist Daniel Popper's largest exhibition in the world is getting even bigger. On June 17, the Morton Arboretum will unveil three new sculptures to join the popular Human+Nature exhibition's five current pieces.

The exhibition expansion will include two large-scale sculptures and a smaller-scale centennial sculpture created to commemorate the Arboretum's 100-year anniversary celebration.

The centennial sculpture will call the Arboretum's core Arbor Court area outside the Visitor Center home, while the large-scale figures will adorn Bulb Meadow near the Maple Collection near parking lot 14 and a secluded wooded area near Lake Marmo on the west side parking lot 29.

Human+Nature opened last spring and is scheduled to run through March 2023. The exhibition is included free with advance timed-entry admission to the Arboretum.
