Naperville mortgage team wins Shining Business Award

NAPERVILLE - The Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce this month honored Team Doyle Hulsey Cross Country Mortgage with the Shining Business Award at its annual gala. The Shining Business Award is given to a chamber member business that exemplifies positive traits and a desire to serve the community in a way that others want to follow.

"Our members nominated Matt Doyle and his team for what they do to impact the community year-round, but they brought particular attention to what he has created around the holiday season," said chamber President and CEO Kaylin Risvold.

Doyle, a partner at Cross Country Mortgage, for the second year in 2021 created what is now coined the "12 Nights of Santa Claus," portraying St. Nick. He rode dressed in full holiday gear on the back of a decorated float, while traveling most of Naperville and benefiting 12 local charities.

"Matt Doyle, of Team Doyle Hulsey Cross Country Mortgage, brought joy to our community during the pandemic by visiting many of our neighborhoods as Santa Claus. This great idea has now become a new tradition for our community to anticipate during the holiday season," said Christina Caton Kitchel, chairman of the board of directors at the NACC.
