Women's fitness center to open in Naperville

NAPERVILLE - Delta Life Fitness, a fitness center designed for women, will soon open at 1277 S. Naper Blvd.

The physical space is different from other gyms, keeping the comforts of women in mind; and the fitness programs are different, too. Workouts are specifically designed to utilize women's metabolism differences to maximize results for women, the owner said.

Delta Life Fitness is part of a growing national chain. This is it's first location in Illinois.

DLF Naperville's owner, Alicia Roberts, came to Naperville from New Zealand by way of Chicago, and is excited to get busy Naperville women on their way to achieving their fitness goals. "The women of this community are impressive in every way," she said. "They are supportive, determined, and strong, which is a perfect match for Delta Life Fitness to help them be the best version of themselves."

Roberts says the fitness center will be fully operational by late January with a grand opening scheduled in April.

To make it easier for young mothers to work out, Delta Life will offer a "Kids' Corner," a supervised area of fun, kid-friendly activities and work areas for children.
