CDK Global to host first virtual event

HOFFMAN ESTATES - CDK Global Inc. Monday said it will host its inaugural industry conference, CDK Connect, virtually at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 6.

The event will bring the automotive industry together and showcase how CDK connects dealerships, manufacturers, software developers and consumers to create a seamless car-buying and ownership experience, it said.

CDK, which provides software and dealership management solutions to the automotive, heavy truck, recreational vehicle and heavy equipment industries, serves nearly 15,000 retail locations in North America. It said updates on its Roadster and Salty acquisitions would be given during the conference.

"Led by rapidly evolving consumer preferences and increased government regulation, the automotive industry is in an incredible position to rethink how it connects with its customers - and with each other," said Brian Krzanich, president and chief executive officer, CDK Global.
